Modeling Population Spatial-Temporal Distribution Using Taxis Origin and Destination Data

During dangerous circumstances, knowledge about population distribution is essential for urban infrastructure architecture, policy-making, and planning with the best Spatial-temporal resolution. The spatial-temporal modeling of case study was investigated in present study. In this regard, number generated trips absorbed using taxis pick-up drop-off location data calculated first, census then allocated to each neighborhood. Finally, developed model. order evaluate model, a regression analysis between predicted time period 21:00 23:00 used. Based on calculation trips, it showed different spatial hours one day. pattern during day from night. coefficient determination model (R2) 0.9998, mean squared error 10.78. that works well nighttime at neighborhood level, so proposed will be suitable population.
